Alban Glaser, Senior Innovation Manager

Alban studied chemistry at the University at Heidelberg and the University of applied sciences at Mannheim. He joined the German plastic film producer Werra Plastic in 1997 and became Technical Director in 1999. In 2001 he joined the global, technical marketing team for light stabilizers in plastics at BASF in Ludwigshafen. Since 2011 Alban worked in the agricultural department of BASF in Limburgerhof, responsible for water management and finally for sustainability in agriculture. The red line in all the career are plastic applications used for a more sustainable agricultural production. From August 2017 on he works as a senior innovation manager in technology scouting & incubation of BASF Advanced Materials & Systems Research, Ludwigshafen. 

 

Dr. Andreas Hafner, Senior Innovation Manager / Academic Partnership Developer

Andreas Hafner studied PhD with honours in Chemistry, Werner Price winner of the Swiss Chem. Society (1994). He has close to 30 years professional experience in innovation in the chemical industry, thereof 24 years in a management position. Covering areas of biotechnology, catalysis, solid-state engineering of actives, materials-research (e.g. optical storage media, organic electronic, thin film optics, nano- and micro structuring) resulting in products with major market impact. Since 2009 he is Senior Innovation Manager responsible for technology scouting and incubation.

 

 

 

Bennie Beesink, Research Associate at BASF Nederland B.V.

Bennie Beesink obtained his Msc at the Higher Technical school in Chemistry, University Utrecht in In-organic chemistry in 1981 and joint BASF as research associate since more than 30 years.
